Now in its 10th year, the Smoky Row Community Garden is a neighborhood resource for those of us who don’t have space for garden plots at home or simply want to get to know others who enjoy gardening as much as we do. From first-time gardeners to seasoned pros, the Garden is open for you.
Plots are available for $10/year, although scholarships are available if needed. In addition to the small fee, we invite our gardeners to plant a “Pantry Plant” for the Smoky Row Food Pantry.
Water, compost, tools, and the friendly help of a neighboring plot-holder are all provided. Main growing season is May-September, although over-wintering root crops isn’t uncommon. Email us for registration information, a plot-map, and to ask any questions.
